This website is operated by Fortunato Hardwood Floors LLC (“Fortunato,” “we,” “us”), a residential flooring company based in Long Branch, New Jersey. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and through the calls, texts and emails that follow from it.

By using this website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information through the site.

• Project details, such as the services you are interested in, the size of the space, the current floor, your timeline and any notes

• Your preferred way to be contacted

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting server records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the date and time of the request. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working properly.

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.

04Text messages

When you give us your mobile number and ask us to reach you by text, or when you text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Fortunato about your estimate and project. These are conversational messages, not marketing blasts.

• Message frequency varies with your project.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (848) 246-9209.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of hiring us.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

05How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when needed to serve you, with:

• Service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, the service that delivers form submissions to us by email, the system our web team uses to organize estimate requests, our phone, text and email providers, and our estimating and invoicing software. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
• Authorities, when required by law, court order or to protect the rights, property or safety of Fortunato, our customers or others.
• A successor business, if Fortunato is ever sold, merged or reorganized, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

06Third-party services

Our contact section shows an embedded map from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

This site may link to our social media pages and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

07How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, complete and support your project, keep business and tax records, and meet legal obligations. If you request an estimate and do not hire us, we delete or anonymize your details when we no longer need them, unless you ask us to keep them for a future project.

08How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

09Your choices and rights

You can contact us at any time to:

• Ask what personal information we have about you
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for a legal or business record
• Stop receiving texts, calls or emails from us

This website is meant for adults planning work on their homes. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
